Want to learn how to climb? Do you already climb indoors, but you want to learn how to climb safely outside? Our course is designed for you. We provide a comprehensive introduction to rock climbing; no previous experience is necessary. Topics covered in this class include: knot-tying, building anchors, belaying, the proper use of equipment and the art of moving efficiently on rock. We provide all specialized equipment. Upon completion of our course, each student will have rigged a climb, set up a belay, and climbed a variety of routes on top rope.

The class meets 3 times: 2 indoor workshop sessions and one full day out on the rocks.  The indoor sessions are from 7pm-9pm here at the Monroeville shop.  The outdoor session is all day out on the rocks.  
 
The minimum age for class is 14. A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 16.
 
ONCE YOU HAVE TAKEN OUR TOP-ROPE WORKSHOP, YOU MAY CLIMB AT NO CHARGE WITH ANY OF OUR SUBSEQUENT OUTDOOR SESSIONS!!!
