Prerequisites: Level II and Rescues

Looking to take on the challenges of paddling on the ocean and the Great Lakes?  Lake Erie, only a couple hours away from Pittsburgh, offers a paddling environment unique not only for Pennsylvania but the world!  This course gets you ready for coastal conditions: launching and landing in surf, paddling in wind and waves, towing, communication, and navigation for the sea kayaker.

DATE: September 1st

LOCATION: Presque Isle, Lake Erie

LENGTH: Half Day (11am-4pm)

COST: $70 if we provide equipment / $55 if you have your own equipment

touring/sea kayak required

must have valid Pennsylvania launch permit
