Spring Arrivals

New product is pouring in for spring!

We'll start with some highlights in new outerwear:

Outdoor Research - Helium II Jacket. This waterproof/brethable jacket is just about the lightest we've ever seen! The Pertex Shield DS fabric is super compressible and the jacket has its own stow pocket so the whole thing packs down to baseball size -not unusual for a simple windbreaker, but amazing for a fully waterproof/breathable shell! Weight: 6.4 oz for Men's Large! It is a minimalist style with simple elastic around the wrists and no hand pockets. It does not completely sacrifice functionality though, as it still sports an adjustable hood and hem and has a zippered chest pocket. $150

The North Face - Alpine Project Jacket The battle for the most comfortably breathable waterproof/breathable fabric continues. The North Face unveils it's new Gore-Tex Active Shell fabric jacket - the Alpine Project. Following the success of highly breathable fabrics such as eVent and Polartec's new NeoShell, Gore-Tex has upped the ante with their newest 3-layer laminated fabric-Active Shell, which carries Gore's famous "Guaranteed to Keep You Dry" warranty. The Alpine Project Jacket is perfect for those who want a light and ultra-breathable shell that is still fully-featured with pockets, pit vents, velcro wrist closures, hood and hem adjustments . Perfect for more aerobic activities and humid climates where the user would otherwise get soaked from sweat in a traditional waterproof/breathable jacket. $350
